ARCHIVE / Which browsers support CSS2?
The W3C's Type 2 Cascading Style Sheets specification, generally referred to by the abbreviation "CSS2", is partially supported by Microsoft's Internet Explorer version 5 and above as well as Firefox version 1 and above. Because all of the browsers presently competing for adoption have had to match or exceed the support provided by these earlier browsers, all of the major and most of the minor browsers currently in use do have at least partial support. However, it is important to note that the support offered by Internet Explorer (IE) is not as thorough as that of most other web browsers and requires extra site testing because of this.
